A University of Chicago college student corporation is demanding that the administration fork out over $1 billion in reparations to the city’s South Aspect.
In an op-ed on Feb. 9 in The Chicago Maroon, UChicago Versus Displacement argued that the College of Chicago must pay over $1 billion in reparations to the city’s South Aspect above 20 several years, arguing that it will “protect South Siders from displacement.”
